I’m Partha Madhu, aka proton, a passionate photographer with over two years of experience capturing the world through my lens. My work spans various genres, from vibrant performances to intimate portraits, each frame telling a unique story. I specialize in creating visually compelling images, blending creativity with technical precision. Whether I’m documenting a live event or crafting a minimalist silhouette, my goal is always the same: to evoke emotion and bring out the beauty in every moment.

Vivian Maier and Saul Leiter are two of my most favourite photographers because they perfected what I consider the true essence of photography to be— Observation and Documentation.

These sound obvious, but at the same time, they are hard to pull off. Because the harder one tries, the more complicated it gets— to simply be a part of the environment, without disturbing its purity, while observing and documenting the most precious moments.

That's all I aspire to achieve. Which is why finding moments that transcend the event they belong to, creating a composition that captures stories that are not even in the frame— these are the things that define my work.

Beyond photography, I work as a freelance photo editor, collaborating with clients in real estate, product, and portrait photography. My editing process ensures that every image aligns with the client’s vision, enhancing details while preserving the authenticity of the moment.

When I’m not behind the camera or editing, you’ll find me composing music or playing guitar. Music is another creative outlet for me, where I explore rhythms and melodies that reflect the same artistic spirit found in my photography.
